Kristin Keyes

Kristin Keyes is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Clinical Social Worker who is deeply committed to facilitating positive transformations in the lives of her clients. With a specialization in adult therapy, she adeptly supports individuals grappling with depression, anxiety, trauma, and life adjustment challenges, as well as providing parental counseling. As a mother herself, Kristin possesses a profound understanding of the complexities that parents navigate. Known for her goal-directed therapeutic approach, she works collaboratively with her clients to help them define their mental health objectives and the outcomes they desire from therapy. Kristin employs an integrative treatment approach that draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Mindfulness techniques. Her educational journey began with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Baylor University, followed by a master's degree in Counseling Psychology from the prestigious University of Texas at Tyler. Kristin commenced her professional career in 2012 at the Family Service Center of Galveston County, where she gained significant experience as a therapist and later transitioned to a role as a prevention coordinator and program director. Currently in private practice, she draws upon her extensive experience and training to instigate meaningful and positive change in the lives of her clients.
