MOVE! Weight Management Program

MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Cedar Hill, TX, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through targeted weight management and health promotion initiatives. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities is screened for obesity and provided with tailored referrals to comprehensive weight management services. We offer a variety of flexible treatment options, including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and our innovative TeleMOVE! program, which allows for in-home support and clinician contact as needed. For those who prefer a self-directed approach, our MOVE! Coach mobile app empowers Veterans to track their progress independently. We also provide access to medically supervised weight loss medications and bariatric surgery for individuals who continue to face challenges with obesity after utilizing MOVE! Services may vary depending on the facility, so we encourage interested Veterans to connect with their local MOVE! Coordinator or VA provider to begin their journey toward a healthier lifestyle.
