The Salvation Army Denton

The Salvation Army Denton is dedicated to providing essential services for those facing homelessness and food insecurity in Carrollton, TX. As an emergency night shelter and food pantry, we offer critical assistance to the working poor and individuals in need within Denton County. Our facility includes KARE Kitchen, which serves free meals twice daily at 6:00 a.m. for breakfast and 6:30 p.m. for dinner, ensuring that no one goes hungry regardless of the time of year. Our food pantry operates every Wednesday and Friday from 1:00 p.m. to 3:45 p.m., serving local residents who require support. Open year-round, our shelter welcomes guests daily from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., providing a warm and safe haven. In addition to these core services, we also offer a variety of engaging programs, including youth and women’s ministries, performing arts, and seasonal events.
