Meals on Wheels North Central Texas is dedicated to delivering over 1,000 nutritious meals to seniors and homebound or disabled adults across a vast 3,401 square miles in Burleson and surrounding counties, including Johnson, Ellis, Navarro, Somervell, and Hood. Recognizing that nearly half of our clients live alone, we prioritize addressing food insecurity, isolation, and health monitoring for this vulnerable demographic. Our friendly visits provide more than just meals; they enhance mental well-being through meaningful personal connections. In addition to meal delivery, we offer wellness checks, nutritional education, support for clients and their families, AniMeals for beloved pets, and nutritional supplements at cost. By fostering independence and social interactions, we empower seniors to maintain a self-sufficient lifestyle in their own homes. The process to become a client is straightforward—simply reach out to us for a brief phone assessment. While meal payments are not required, voluntary contributions are greatly appreciated to help sustain our essential services.
