MOVE! Weight Management Program

MOVE! Weight Management Program, located in Brownsville, TX, is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans by providing comprehensive weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to screen every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities for obesity annually and connect them with personalized weight management options, including engaging group sessions, supportive telephone lifestyle coaching, and the innovative TeleMOVE! service for in-home support. Veterans can also utilize our MOVE! Coach mobile app for a self-directed approach to weight management. For those needing further assistance after participating in MOVE!, we offer weight loss medications and access to bariatric surgery tailored to help manage weight-related issues.
