Mesa Llena, a vital initiative of the Food Bank of the Rio Grande Valley, is dedicated to combating hunger in Brownsville, TX by offering free access to nutritious food options, including fresh produce through our food pantry. We not only provide emergency food assistance but also empower our community with resources such as nutrition classes held in our demo kitchen, alongside various community events that promote financial literacy and fitness. Our mission is to enhance the well-being of families while fostering a healthier, more informed community.
