Liz Keator

Liz Keator is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a commitment to fostering genuine therapeutic connections built on compassion and the courage to explore one's self. With a belief that self-discovery is a brave journey, Liz meets clients wherever they are on their personal path as they pursue new perspectives, hope, and healing. She holds a BS from Texas Tech and an MS from Lubbock Christian, bringing a rich tapestry of clinical experience to her practice, including counseling at both elementary and high school levels, serving as a bereavement counselor, and providing collegiate counseling within a residential treatment center focused on drug and alcohol dependence. Liz works with individuals, couples, and families across a wide spectrum of identities, including gender, age, race, sexuality, spiritual and religious beliefs, education level, and socioeconomic status. All are warmly welcomed into her practice. For those seeking faith-based counseling, Liz can seamlessly integrate Christian principles into sessions to further support their journey. Her approach is integrative and tailored to the unique needs and preferences of each client, with particular success seen in her use of EMDR therapy.
