Women, Infants and Children Program (WIC)

The Women, Infants and Children Program (WIC) based in Beaumont, TX, is dedicated to enhancing the health and nutrition of vulnerable mothers and young children. Our mission focuses on empowering pregnant women, postpartum individuals, and breastfeeding mothers with the education they need to nurture their families through proper nutrition. We provide personalized nutrition counseling, engaging nutrition classes, and invaluable breastfeeding support, including the option to obtain breast pumps at no cost. Each month, qualified participants receive benefits to purchase nutritious foods like iron-fortified infant formula, fresh fruits, vegetables, milk, and more, ensuring that families can access essential nutrition. WIC is designed for pregnant women, new mothers, and guardians of children under five, and eligibility is determined based on income and nutritional assessments. We invite those in need to apply in person and benefit from the comprehensive services we provide, contributing to healthier families and stronger communities in Texas.
