Women, Infants and Children Program (WIC)

The Women, Infants and Children Program (WIC) in Beaumont, TX, is dedicated to enhancing the health and nutrition of pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to age five who are at risk for nutrition-related issues. Our mission is to provide valuable nutrition education through personalized counseling and engaging classes tailored for mothers and children. We also offer vital breastfeeding support, including instructional guidance and complimentary breast pumps to ensure mothers have all the resources they need. Each month, participants receive benefits that can be exchanged for nutritious foods like iron-fortified infant formula, fruits, vegetables, milk, and cereals, designed to meet the dietary needs of growing families. Additionally, WIC connects clients to essential health and social services to further support their well-being. To be eligible, individuals must meet certain income guidelines and nutritional risk criteria, and we encourage all interested to apply in person. Access to WIC is a straightforward step towards a healthier future for families in our community.
