Women, Infants, and Children (WIC)

Located in Baytown, TX, Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) is dedicated to supporting pregnant women, new mothers, and children under five by addressing their nutritional needs. Our mission focuses on promoting healthy eating practices through the provision of nutritious foods, breastfeeding support, and essential referrals to health care services. At WIC, we believe that good nutrition is fundamental for the healthy development of children, beginning from pregnancy. Our program offers comprehensive nutrition education, access to healthy foods, and connections to various health and social service programs. Eligibility includes those who are enrolled in Medicaid, TANF, or SNAP, but we also welcome others who meet household income guidelines, regardless of U.S. citizenship. Caregivers of young children are encouraged to take advantage of our services. We invite you to schedule an appointment during our operating hours, which are Monday through Friday, and Saturdays by appointment, ensuring you bring the necessary documentation to start your journey towards better nutrition.
