Meals on Wheels in Baytown, TX, provides essential food assistance by delivering hot, nutritionally balanced meals directly to homebound seniors aged 60 and above. Operating Monday through Friday, our service ensures that those in need receive proper nourishment even when they are unable to leave their homes. To provide the best care, all participants go through an initial assessment to establish eligibility, followed by an annual assessment, both conducted by a YWCA Houston Intake Specialist.
