Country Wheels Program

The Country Wheels Program in Austin, TX, is dedicated to ensuring seniors in remote rural areas have access to nutritious meals. This vital service delivers seven frozen meals each week to eligible seniors across seven counties, including Bastrop, Caldwell, Fayette, and parts of Hays, Lee, Travis, and Williamson Counties. Our caring team conducts assessments through supportive case managers to confirm eligibility for our meal delivery, offering short-term services for those facing temporary meal needs. In light of COVID-19, we have implemented safety measures to protect our clients and volunteers while maintaining our commitment to assist existing clients with their meal needs. Although new client intake is temporarily paused, we encourage those seeking additional food resources to reach out to 2-1-1 for assistance. We are here to ensure that every senior in our coverage area receives the nourishment they deserve.
