The Community Garden at El Buen Samaritano in Austin, TX, is dedicated to fostering a sense of belonging and health for families through low-cost gardening opportunities. With plots available for a nominal fee ranging from $15 to $30 per season, members are encouraged to engage in hands-on learning and community involvement. Our food pantry team also supports additional plots designated for produce distribution, ensuring that everyone has access to healthy food options. We value participation, requiring members to commit three hours per month to garden maintenance and to attend an essential orientation session at the season's start.
