Arlette Jane Back

Arlette Jane Back is a dedicated licensed professional counselor with a rich background in educational and counseling settings since 2006. She began her career in early childhood education at Amarillo Montessori Academy during her college years, where she gained valuable insights into child development and strategies for fostering early academic achievement. With extensive experience at the junior high and high school levels, Arlette discovered her true passion for social justice advocacy while serving as an elementary counselor at a refugee relocation site, where she worked diligently with at-risk populations. Her diverse professional repertoire includes leading grief groups, facilitating domestic violence support groups, providing substance abuse treatment, and offering psychoeducation and counseling for adult probation. Arlette has actively participated in local and state professional counseling associations, serving in roles such as President, Member-at-large, and on the bylaws committee for the Texas Counseling Association. Currently thriving in her private practice, Arlette is committed to expanding her knowledge and experience by staying informed about the latest research and best practices in psychotherapy. She takes great joy in meeting new individuals and becoming a passionate advocate for the vulnerable members of her community.
