Senior Box Program

The Senior Box Program in Alvin, TX, is dedicated to supporting income-eligible seniors aged 60 and above by providing vital food assistance through the distribution of Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) meal boxes. Each month, we aim to serve over 11,000 seniors in the Houston area, ensuring they have access to nutritious food options that can enhance their quality of life. To enroll in the program, seniors can visit Bethel's Heavenly Hands and inquire about Senior Box Day, with no proof required, although information regarding age, income, and residency will be requested. While we strive to accommodate everyone who qualifies, those who apply may be placed on a waiting list if monthly capacity is reached.
