The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Supplemental Food Program in Springfield, TN, is dedicated to fostering healthy nutrition among low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. Through nutrition education, access to supplemental foods, support for breastfeeding, and health care referrals, WIC addresses the urgent needs of our community's most vulnerable populations. We proudly participate in the WIC Farmer's Market Nutrition Program, bringing fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables to families in Coffee, Hickman, Knox, Lincoln, Madison, Maury, Moore, Rutherford, and Sullivan counties. While our services are currently being delivered via phone due to COVID-19, we are committed to enhancing our offerings and expanding the range of products available to WIC participants, ensuring that every family has the resources they need to thrive.
