At the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program in Sparta, TN, we are dedicated to nurturing the health and well-being of low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, along with infants and children up to five years old. Our mission emphasizes the importance of healthy food habits through comprehensive nutrition education, the provision of supplemental foods, and strong breastfeeding support. To further empower our participants, we proudly offer the WIC Farmer's Market Nutrition Program, delivering fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables to families across several counties, including Coffee, Hickman, Knox, Lincoln, Madison, Maury, Moore, Rutherford, and Sullivan. During these challenging times, our services are accessible via phone, with expanded options for food choices available through WIC funding.
