The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Soddy Daisy, TN, is dedicated to empowering the next generation of leaders in sustainable agriculture and food justice. Through comprehensive, organic food system education, our program trains and sponsors dedicated Fellows to become advocates for an equitable food system that prioritizes social, environmental, and economic justice. Over a six-month immersive experience at the Allegheny Farm Campus, participants gain hands-on training in diverse practices, including growing and distributing crops through market-style farming, maintaining community gardens, and crafting innovative food education programs. After this foundational program, Fellows embark on a Community Action Year, applying their knowledge in partnership with regional non-profits to enhance food access and promote health literacy throughout the community. With an emphasis on accessibility, our Fellowship does not charge tuition, ensuring that passionate individuals can join us in our mission to transform the food system for the better.
