Bowdoin Recovery Services is dedicated to helping individuals address life, relationship, and legal problems that hinder their pursuit of fulfilling life experiences. Offering both individual counseling and group therapy, Bowdoin also provides educational resources including monthly DUI classes. Additionally, Anger Management Classes of varying lengths, as well as parenting classes upon request, are available. Specialized Intensive Outpatient Treatment for Co-Occurring Disorders is also offered. The focus is on client-centered, trauma-informed care, using therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Twelve Step Facilitation, and the Matrix Model.
