Located in Smithville, TN, the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Supplemental Food Program is dedicated to fostering healthy food habits among low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, along with infants and children from birth to five years. Our mission is to offer vital nutrition education, provide supplemental foods, promote breastfeeding, and facilitate referrals for essential healthcare services. We also proudly participate in the WIC Farmer's Market Nutrition Program, supplying fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables to our participants across Coffee, Hickman, Knox, Lincoln, Madison, Maury, Moore, Rutherford, and Sullivan counties. While our services are currently being conducted over the phone to prioritize safety during the COVID-19 pandemic, we continually adapt to increase the variety of choices available to our participants, expanding the range of products eligible for WIC funding. We invite those in need to reach out and discover how WIC can support their nutritional needs today.
