The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Supplemental Food Program in Signal Mountain, TN, provides essential food assistance and nutrition education to low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. Our mission focuses on cultivating healthy eating habits and promoting breastfeeding support through comprehensive resources, including supplemental foods and referrals for healthcare services. We proudly participate in the WIC Farmer's Market Nutrition Program, ensuring access to fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables for our participants in several surrounding counties such as Coffee, Knox, and Rutherford. In response to COVID-19, we are now offering services via phone to ensure accessibility while expanding our range of eligible food items, allowing for a greater selection for our participants.
