Based in Powell, TN, the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Supplemental Food Program is dedicated to fostering healthy nutrition for low-income pregnant and postpartum women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. Through providing essential services such as nutrition education, supplemental foods, breastfeeding support, and health care referrals, WIC is committed to enhancing the well-being of families in our community. We proudly offer access to fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables through the WIC Farmer's Market Nutrition Program, benefiting participants in several counties including Knox, Madison, and Rutherford. In response to ongoing needs during the COVID-19 pandemic, we have adapted our services to ensure safety and accessibility, expanding choices for participants and enhancing our offerings to include a broader range of products.
