In Old Hickory, TN, the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Supplemental Food Program is dedicated to nurturing the health and wellness of low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, along with infants and children up to five years of age. Our mission is to foster healthy eating habits through nutrition education, the provision of supplemental foods, and breastfeeding support, coupled with important healthcare referrals. We take pride in our participation in the WIC Farmer's Market Nutrition Program, which connects participants with fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables across multiple counties, including Coffee, Hickman, Knox, Lincoln, Madison, Maury, Moore, Rutherford, and Sullivan. As we adapt services in response to COVID-19, we are committed to providing support via phone, increasing food choices, and expanding the range of products available for purchase with WIC funds, ensuring our families receive the resources they need for a healthy future.
