Charlie Mitchell, LPC, MS, NCC, is the founder and owner of Heart Pine Counseling Center, committed to delivering exceptional counseling services to the East Tennessee community. His specialty lies in Emotionally Focused Family and Couples Therapy, which fosters profound and lasting emotional healing. Charlie addresses a range of issues including addiction, marital and family conflict, anger management, anxiety, and depression. He is experienced in the 12-step methodology and employs Christian integrative approaches, always placing the client's values and beliefs at the forefront of the therapeutic process. A graduate of the University of Tennessee with a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, he earned recognition as the Most Outstanding Student. Before establishing Heart Pine, Charlie gained valuable experience as a Private Practice Therapist in Knoxville, where he supported couples, young professionals, college students, and families within local private schools. With a passion for helping others, Charlie looks forward to embarking on journeys of hope and healing with his clients.
