Elizabeth Chan is a Pre-Licensed Professional therapist raised in the vibrant melting pot of New York City as a first-generation Chinese American, with her parents hailing from Hong Kong. After her college years, she relocated to Nashville, where she enjoyed the extraordinary experience of traveling the world as a musician. This journey allowed her to listen to the stories of countless individuals, encompassing struggles such as depression, grief, addiction, and the glimmers of hope found along the way. Through these narratives, as well as her own, Elizabeth discovered the transformative power of therapy and the profound impact of recognizing one's intrinsic worth and the need to feel seen, heard, and loved. Following her years on tour, she pursued a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Elizabeth is deeply committed to supporting individuals of all genders aged 16 and older, with a particular focus on issues such as complex trauma, anxiety, depression, and religious trauma, all within a culturally sensitive framework. In her practice, she strives to cultivate a safe, nurturing environment that promotes growth, curiosity, exploration, and healing. Utilizing an integrative therapeutic approach, she helps clients develop a higher awareness of their thoughts, emotions, and bodies through effective modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy, internal family systems, and mindfulness training.
