Candace Coleman is a pre-licensed professional therapist with a deep passion for helping others navigate and heal from painful experiences. Growing up in Jackson, MS, she faced the challenges of poverty and a dysfunctional family system, which inspired her dedication to aiding those grappling with mother-daughter trauma, daddy issues, cyclical romantic relationships, and workplace abuse. As an interpersonal trauma therapist, she specializes in supporting Black women who wish to break generational curses yet feel they lack the necessary support and knowledge. Many of Candace's clients, who often enter therapy as self-critical people pleasers, work alongside her to confront their immobilizing past experiences and learn techniques to regulate their emotions. Through their journey together, they develop the skills to manage the impacts of their trauma, empowering them to create the fulfilling lives they truly deserve. Candace is devoted to understanding the unique challenges faced by Black women and is committed to helping them thrive in the aftermath of trauma.
