The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Supplemental Food Program in Milan, TN, is committed to fostering health and well-being among low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. We provide essential services such as nutrition education, access to supplemental foods, breastfeeding promotion, and health care referrals. Our program proudly participates in the WIC Farmer's Market Nutrition Program, offering fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables to participants throughout Coffee, Hickman, Knox, Lincoln, Madison, Maury, Moore, Rutherford, and Sullivan counties. In response to COVID-19, we have adapted our services to ensure accessibility, now providing support by phone as well as expanding the variety of food items available to our participants. Our mission is to empower families to make healthier food choices and enhance their nutrition during critical early years.
