The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Loudon, TN, is dedicated to fostering a just and sustainable food system through experiential education and community engagement. Designed to empower individuals as advocates and teachers, this comprehensive program offers hands-on training in organic agriculture, food justice, and ecological literacy. Participants work collaboratively on dynamic projects including growing diversified crops, developing school and community gardens, and implementing educational sessions that promote innovative health care solutions. Over six months at the Allegheny Farm Campus, Fellows gain invaluable experience, followed by a Community Action Year where they apply their skills in collaboration with regional nonprofit partners. We believe in making this transformative fellowship accessible; therefore, we do not charge tuition, ensuring that aspiring advocates from all backgrounds can contribute to a healthier, more equitable food landscape.
