The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship, located in Lenoir City, TN, empowers passionate individuals to become advocates for a just and sustainable food system through immersive hands-on training. Sponsored by the Allegheny Mountain Institute, this fellowship removes financial barriers by offering tuition-free education focused on organic farming practices and ecological literacy. Over a transformative six-month experience at the Allegheny Farm Campus, fellows learn essential skills in crop production, community gardening, and health education, while actively engaging with local partners and community food initiatives. Following their training, fellows embark on a Community Action Year to implement their knowledge in collaboration with regional non-profit organizations.
