The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Supplemental Food Program in Lebanon, TN, is dedicated to supporting low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, along with infants and children up to five years old, by fostering healthy nutrition practices. We offer crucial services such as nutrition education, supplemental foods, and breastfeeding support, along with referrals to health care services to ensure families receive comprehensive support. Our program also participates in the WIC Farmer's Market Nutrition Program, providing participants access to fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables across several counties, including Coffee, Hickman, Knox, Lincoln, Madison, Maury, Moore, Rutherford, and Sullivan. Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, we continue to serve our community by offering services by phone and expanding the selection of food items available through the program, all aimed at enhancing the nutritional choices for our participants.
