Counseling Interventions is a compassionate Marriage & Family Therapist Intern with a deep passion for guiding clients through their journey of change. Understanding that healing from pain, trauma, rejection, and abandonment is possible, they create a safe space for individuals who may feel overwhelmed and unsure of where to start. With a focus on adults and elders, Counseling recognizes the challenges that arise when life moves too quickly, reinforcing that no one needs to face these challenges alone. Based in rural Tennessee, they work with many clients dealing with abandonment histories, whether from absent parents, the loss of a spouse, or betrayal in relationships. These experiences can lead to issues such as anger, depression, addiction, and anxiety. After establishing their private practice, Counseling noticed a significant need to address anger management, believing that anger exists at varying levels within all individuals and that it can hinder relationships and careers. They excel at helping clients identify their anger triggers, fostering awareness about how it can obstruct their paths to wellness. Moreover, Counseling values the therapeutic alliance and understands the significance of finding a counselor who resonates with a client’s needs. Should a client feel that a different approach is necessary after their initial meeting, Counseling is committed to assisting them in finding the appropriate referral to ensure they receive the support they require.
