The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Supplemental Food Program in La Follette, TN, is dedicated to fostering healthy eating habits among low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. Our mission includes providing essential nutrition education, supplemental foods, breastfeeding support, and referrals for healthcare services. We proudly facilitate access to the WIC Farmer's Market Nutrition Program, offering fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables to participants across multiple counties, including Coffee, Hickman, Knox, Lincoln, Madison, Maury, Moore, Rutherford, and Sullivan. In response to COVID-19, our services are currently conducted by phone, enhancing convenience while expanding the available choices for WIC funds. We are committed to improving the health and nutrition of families in our community, ensuring that vital resources are accessible during these challenging times.
