Wimberly's diverse practice includes work in in-patient and wilderness settings, outpatient and integrated care contexts, as well as school-based and partial hospitalization programs. Her comprehensive training began with adolescents and expanded through her graduate focus on older adults, while her early postgraduate years concentrated on children.
