Steve Brown is a Clinical Social Worker and Therapist who has dedicated his career to supporting children, adolescents, and adults through individual, couples, family, and group therapy. He graduated with a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Tennessee in 1996 and later obtained his Licensed Clinical Social Work certification in 1999. His extensive experience includes teaching as an adjunct instructor for the master's program at the UT College of Social Work, where he delivered courses on family therapy, group therapy, clinical social work with children and adolescents, and foundational subjects. Over the years, Steve has worked in various mental health centers and psychiatric facilities, engaging in areas such as geriatrics, hospice, pain management, domestic violence, and substance abuse. His expertise allows him to address a wide range of challenges, including depression, anxiety, adjustment issues, and psychotic mental illnesses. Since launching his private practice in 1999, Steve has hosted numerous professional and public workshops and values a collaborative, flexible approach in therapy.
