The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program in Kingsport, TN, is dedicated to fostering healthy nutrition for low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. Our mission encompasses providing essential nutrition education, supplemental foods, and robust breastfeeding support, while also offering vital referrals for healthcare services. We are proud to include the WIC Farmer's Market Nutrition Program, which facilitates access to fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables across several counties including Coffee, Hickman, and Sullivan. During the ongoing challenges posed by COVID-19, we are committed to ensuring that our services remain accessible by providing assistance via phone. We continually strive to enhance our offerings, expanding the range of food choices available to participants and adapting our program to better meet community needs.
