In Jackson, TN, the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Supplemental Food Program is dedicated to enhancing the health and nutrition of low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children up to five years old. WIC provides crucial services such as nutrition education, access to supplemental foods, breastfeeding promotion, and healthcare referrals. We are proud to participate in the WIC Farmer's Market Nutrition Program, offering participants in Coffee, Hickman, Knox, Lincoln, Madison, Maury, Moore, Rutherford, and Sullivan counties fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables. In response to COVID-19, our services are conducted over the phone to ensure safety and convenience, while offering an expanded selection of food items for our participants. We remain committed to improving access to nutrition and supporting the well-being of families in our community.
