The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Supplemental Food Program in Harriman, TN, is dedicated to promoting healthy nutrition and wellness for low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, as well as infants and children from birth to age five. We provide essential services including nutrition education, supplemental food assistance, breastfeeding support, and referrals to healthcare resources. Our program actively participates in the WIC Farmer's Market Nutrition Program, ensuring participants have access to fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables across several counties, including Coffee, Hickman, Knox, Lincoln, Madison, Maury, Moore, Rutherford, and Sullivan. In response to COVID-19, we are offering services by phone and have expanded our product offerings to provide more choices for our participants. We are committed to supporting our community and enhancing the health of families in need through accessible food assistance and comprehensive care.
