The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship based in Gallatin, TN, is dedicated to cultivating a socially, environmentally, and economically sustainable food system. This program empowers individuals by providing comprehensive training to become advocates and educators in food justice. Our Fellows enjoy a unique, hands-on experience at the Allegheny Farm Campus, where they gain knowledge in organic food systems, engage in community-focused initiatives, and learn to grow and distribute diverse crops. Through partnerships, they implement innovative health education, maintain community gardens, and promote food and ecological literacy within schools. Committed to increasing access to healthy food, our Fellows support local farmers' markets and direct-to-consumer programs while actively contributing to regional non-profits during their Community Action Year. With no tuition fees, we prioritize accessibility, inviting passionate individuals to apply by March each year for an impactful program running from May to October.
