Located in Elizabethton, TN, the MOVE! Weight Management Program is dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of Veterans through tailored weight management and health promotion services. Our mission is to ensure that every Veteran receiving care at VA facilities is screened for obesity annually and is connected to a variety of supportive weight management options that cater to their individual needs. We offer a range of services including group sessions, telephone lifestyle coaching, and TeleMOVE!, which provides personalized at-home resources and clinician support. Additionally, the MOVE! Coach mobile app allows Veterans to take charge of their weight management journey independently. For those facing persistent challenges, we also provide access to weight loss medications and bariatric surgery as part of a comprehensive approach. To join the MOVE! program, Veterans are encouraged to reach out to their local MOVE! Coordinator or VA provider to explore how we can support their weight loss goals.
