Dayton, TN 37367 US
At the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program in Dayton, TN, we are dedicated to nurturing the health and well-being of low-income pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women, along with infants and children up to five years old. Our mission centers around fostering healthy eating habits through nutrition education, providing essential supplemental foods, and offering breastfeeding support, all while ensuring access to necessary health care referrals. We proudly participate in the WIC Farmer's Market Nutrition Program, connecting participants with fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables throughout several counties, including Coffee, Hickman, Knox, Lincoln, Madison, Maury, Moore, Rutherford, and Sullivan. In response to COVID-19, we are conducting services by phone to ensure safety while continuing to expand our offerings, increasing the variety of food items eligible for purchase with WIC benefits. We invite you to reach out to your local county health department to learn more about how we can support you and your family on this journey to better health.
