The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in Cookeville, TN, is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of advocates and educators in sustainable food systems. By providing a comprehensive, tuition-free program, we empower Fellows with essential knowledge in organic food production and community engagement practices. Our Fellowship offers hands-on experience at the Allegheny Farm, where participants learn to grow diversified crops, develop school and community gardens, and implement vital food and ecological literacy programs. Throughout this transformative six-month residency, Fellows not only enhance their expertise but also engage in a Community Action Year, applying their skills in collaboration with local non-profits. Together, we work towards a food system that is socially, environmentally, and economically just, ensuring increased access to healthy foods for all.
