Columbia, TN 38401 US
The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program in Columbia, TN, is dedicated to fostering healthy eating habits among low-income pregnant women, new mothers, and young children up to five years old. Our mission encompasses providing essential nutrition education, supplemental food assistance, breastfeeding support, and healthcare referrals to ensure families have access to the resources they need. We proudly participate in the WIC Farmer's Market Nutrition Program, offering fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables to participants in Coffee, Hickman, Knox, Lincoln, Madison, Maury, Moore, Rutherford, and Sullivan counties. To adapt to ongoing needs during the COVID-19 pandemic, many of our services are now available by phone, with expanded food choices and product options for participants to better meet nutritional needs. At WIC, we are here to support the health and well-being of our community's families.
