Dr. Laura Mccracken is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, certified by the National Register of Health Service Psychologists, who specializes in therapeutic services for adolescents (ages 16 and up) and adults. With a holistic approach to treatment, she fosters a supportive and collaborative environment that emphasizes the therapeutic alliance. Dr. Mccracken assists clients in exploring their difficulties and developing new coping strategies to facilitate meaningful change and achieve optimal symptom relief. Her expertise includes addressing anxiety, depression, trauma, loss, and relationship issues. Additionally, she conducts psychological assessments and evaluations for individuals aged 6 and up, specializing in ADHD diagnostic evaluations, psychoeducational assessments for learning disabilities and giftedness, fitness for duty, and public safety evaluations. Dr. Mccracken earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, completing her internship and fellowship training at Parkland Health and Hospital System and Children's Medical Center Dallas.
