Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) in Ashland City, TN, is dedicated to fostering healthy nutrition among low-income pregnant and postpartum women, breastfeeding mothers, and children from birth to five years old. Our program offers vital nutrition education, supplemental food assistance, and breastfeeding support, alongside referrals to healthcare services. We also actively participate in the WIC Farmer's Market Nutrition Program, providing access to fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables for participants across multiple counties including Coffee, Hickman, Knox, and more. In response to COVID-19, our services are currently being offered via phone to ensure continued support during this time, as we have expanded the variety of food options available to participants.
