Farm & Food Systems Fellowship

The Farm & Food Systems Fellowship in York, PA, is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of advocates and educators committed to creating a just and sustainable food system. Sponsored by the Allegheny Mountain Institute, this fellowship offers a unique opportunity for selected Fellows to engage in a transformative six-month, hands-on learning experience at the Allegheny Farm Campus in Virginia. Participants will receive comprehensive training in organic food system education, empowering them to launch community initiatives such as community gardens, farmers markets, and health-oriented educational programs. Our mission emphasizes collaboration with regional non-profits to enhance food access, promote food literacy, and cultivate a diverse and resilient local food economy without the barrier of tuition, ensuring that fellowship opportunities remain accessible.
