Food Cupboard

Food Cupboard in Wilkes Barre, PA, is dedicated to alleviating hunger by providing essential food assistance to families in need. Our mission is to ensure that everyone has access to nutritious meals through our monthly food pantry services, where households receive a variety of non-perishable groceries along with non-food items sourced from local donations and state support. Each family is also provided with a gift card for Shop N Save, making it easier for them to meet their individual needs. We welcome community members to join us for food distribution on the third Tuesday of each month from 7 to 8 PM at Zion Lutheran Church, with no pre-registration required—simply fill out the application upon your visit. During these challenging times, especially with the ongoing impacts of COVID-19, we remain committed to safeguarding the health of our neighbors and volunteers while continuing to serve those facing food insecurity in our community.
