Food Cupboard

Located in Wilkes Barre, PA, the Food Cupboard is dedicated to providing essential food assistance to families in need. Our program distributes nutritious groceries, including non-perishables and essential non-food items sourced from local donations and state resources. Each household also receives a gift card for Shop N Save to ensure they can access fresh food options. We host food distribution events every third Tuesday of the month from 7 to 8 PM at Zion Lutheran Church, where no pre-registration is required; simply complete an application upon your visit. As we navigate ongoing challenges posed by COVID-19, we remain committed to safeguarding our community while meeting the growing demand for emergency food support. Our mission is to ensure that no neighbor goes hungry, and we welcome all in need to reach out and receive assistance.
