Kim Beggs

Kim Beggs is a licensed professional counselor with a Master's degree and credentials as an NCC. In today's hectic society, she observes that families often struggle to manage responsibilities and maintain satisfying relationships. Kim specializes in working with couples, parents, and adolescents, helping them develop respectful interaction skills through effective communication, conflict resolution, and boundary-setting techniques. Many of her clients are teenagers grappling with anxiety and depression, often feeling overwhelmed by academic pressures, demanding schedules, and relationship challenges. She empowers young adults to identify and remove obstacles that hinder their transition into adulthood, guiding them in exploring their values, self-esteem, personality traits, interests, and personal and career aspirations. As a certified facilitator, Kim utilizes the Prepare-Enrich inventory to assess relationship strengths and areas for growth. She provides valuable feedback and resources to assist couples in managing conflict and cultivating more fulfilling relationships. In her tailored 3-session premarital counseling program, she helps couples clarify their values and expectations in preparation for marriage. Additionally, Kim holds certification in Child Sexual Abuse Treatment, aiding survivors in processing the trauma and loss they have experienced. She is also certified to present QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) suicide prevention training to groups and facilitates corporate training sessions on various mental health topics.
