Dawn Jackson is a pre-licensed professional with a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and a passion for helping individuals navigate life's challenges. She firmly believes that every conversation matters, and her work as a counselor centers around the healing potential of genuine dialogue with clients. In an increasingly complex world, life transitions can often feel daunting—however, individuals do not have to navigate these feelings of anxiety, hopelessness, or isolation alone. Dawn fosters a safe and supportive environment where clients can process their past and present obstacles, identify tailored solutions, and work collaboratively towards rebuilding their lives or relationships. As a culturally diverse and culturally sensitive family therapist, she operates under three guiding principles: awareness, positive regard, and empathy. With a deep respect and genuine interest in her clients' journeys, Dawn creates a friendly and understanding atmosphere that promotes healing. She has extensive experience working with a wide array of clients, including at-risk adolescents, families, young and middle-aged adults, and couples. Additionally, as a Certified Play Therapist, she skillfully employs therapeutic play strategies for children facing various behavioral, emotional, or mental health challenges, whether in the office or school settings.
