Community Outreach Program

The Community Outreach Program in Uniontown, PA, is dedicated to combatting food insecurity through our innovative Truck to Trunk model, which brings emergency food assistance directly to rural food deserts. By rotating our distribution sites weekly, we aim to reach different remote areas, maximizing our impact and ensuring that all residents have access to essential nutrition. Additionally, we connect individuals registered for food distribution with vital resources and programs offered by Food Helpers and other local entities, addressing their unique needs beyond just food assistance.
